Make time for Fun!

It's easy to get carried away focusing on doing it all after finally arriving places you've seen in movies or read about for years, but remember that a big element of any vacation is FUN! 

This is especially true when traveling with family. 

 Young children know this instinctively. 

Cruises to the Mexican Riviera or Caribbean are ideal for family fun.  

Who doesn't enjoy sunny days at beaches or swimming pools? 

Evenings bring world-class entertainment with multiple choices a short walk away. 

The daily activities listing makes seeing amazing live performers as easy as finding a TV show --- easier than finding a good TV show --- back home! 

Children love the Kids Clubs on all big ships, but don't miss the chance to share fun times with them playing miniature golf or trivia, rock climbing, swimming or experiencing some of the more unique onboard experiences like bumber cars, ice skating or bowling, depending on the ship you choose. 

While it's exciting to go new places, you can easily have a lot of fun taking a cruise you've taken previously, because there is so much to do both on board and on shore, you can find totally new experiences.  Or you can return to old favorite haunts.  In fact, you may find returning to a favorite itinerary makes it more fun, as you no longer have that pressure of trying to do it all. 

And if you've done a few cruises, you probably have figured out that you don't really need to use all of the port time doing shore activities.  Returning to the ship early can be a different kind of treat, enjoying the views of the port from your deck chair.
