Are Your Golf Clubs Ready For the World?
Published Wednesday, February 6th 2019 - Updated Tuesday, September 3rd 2019Sure, you've thought about throwing your driver in the lake so it could join your first three tee shots that you sliced there.
And your putter hasn't been your most reliable companion.
Maybe like me you've decided your fairway woods are completely worthless, except for occasionally teeing off on a hole between 170 and 210 yards...and then your ball still ends up in that relentlessly ball-stealing rough leading to the front edge of the green.
Could it be that your golf clubs only need a change of scenery?
There are some fantastic golf cruises available, and the ship's pro can arrange your transportation to the course for you and your clubs, plus give you tips on unique fairway features.
How about hitting several courses in the United Kingdom on a cruise that also includes attending the British Open?
On a cruise like that, you'll find special shipboard activities centered on your favorite game.
Or perhaps you'd rather play a round on each of four different Hawaiian Islands.
Bermuda is a golfers' paradise, with many world-class courses within driving range of a cruise from the Eastern Seaboard.
Of course, there are also land trips focused on golf, including some all-inclusive Sandals Resorts in the Caribbean with free green fees (you pay only for cart and caddy).
What are you waiting for?
FORE!?!?
Wes
P.S. A golf cruise is a great give to that duffer who has everything, and if golf isn't your thing, you can focus on other great shore excursions or perhaps the ship's spa on those port days, although if you love to play golf too, that's a birdie in the hand --- maybe even an eagle --- on the scorecard of life.
