Over the past weekend, cherished clients asked about World Cruises in 2023.

I have sold segments on world cruises but never the whole enchilada, so this was an exciting possibility following another week of rather dismal travel news and checking on future cruise credits for cancelled cruise.

Few 2023 cruises are currently available, but a few populated my searches, and I busied myself finding what was available.  Despite media Covid-coverage which might make it seem no sane person wants to board a cruise ship, much less take a voyage longer than 7-days, these extended 100-day-plus voyages still sell out early.

Experienced, well-healed travelers are perfectly capable of assessing risk for themselves, and most concur that the rewards of travel for exceed some implied but rather nebulous concept of it being safer stay self-quarantined at home.

On their usually preferred cruise line, Princess, itineraries for 2023 have not opened for sale, but I can say that for embarkation on January 5, 2022, the 111-night voyage roundtrip from Los Angeles has no category above mini-suite available.

Viking, on which they've cruised rivers but not oceans thus far, does have availability for their World Cruise in 2023.  For Suites, there is free Business Class Air.
