Cruise itineraries are being shuffled and redealt for 2021 and 2022.

Always responding positively to the latest market trends, this of course brings exciting changes.

For example, beautiful Crown Princess will be cruising from Los Angeles all summer, which is big news for folks who live on the West Coast.  In summers, we normally can choose Carnival (a fun trip for all!) or take a long flight to catch a cruise.

Crown Princess will serve up a nice mix of choices for summer, from a 4-night escape to Baja to 14-night cruises to Alaska.  Crown will also take week-long cruises to the Mexican Riviera and...drum roll please...California Coast (a first many of you have been requesting in summer months!).  These West Coast trips replace previously scheduled trips to the British Isles.

While we tend to think mainly of big ships in Alaska, especially for cruise tours, thumbing through an Oceania brochure yesterday, I was strongly tempted by their cruise tours to Denali or the Canadian Rockies by Rail in conjunction with their exceptional cruises.

Now that we truly understand that the future --- including freedom to travel anywhere at any time --- is promised to none of us, isn't it worth splurging a bit in 2021?

Hopefully the European Union will be be open to Americans by summer.

The emphasis in early 2021, however, will be shorter cruises departing from United States ports, as lines introduce new protocols on sailings with reduced passenger capacity on a trial basis.  Smaller crowds are always nice, right?

You may have heard that major cruise lines have been trimming some older ships from their fleets.  That means older ships offering less expensive cruising will have their capacity replaced by newer, state-of-the-art ships which inevitably cost more....but vive la différence!

You'll want to book early for the best choice of staterooms.  How about an Infinite Veranda on the new Celebrity Apex or Edge?

There's too much changing to cover in a few sentences.

Please let me know what you want, and I will be happy to guide you to the vacation of your dreams.

"Better service leads to better trips!"

P.S. Regardless of where you choose to cruise when you get the chance, the armchair traveler in all of us can go virtually Biking Along the Danube right now!
