If you wait for the perfect time to travel, you will never leave home.

Instead, think about what will excite your inner teenager.

Our recent trip to Egypt was awesome!

But you don't have to fly that many hours to have a cool vacation.

In fact, if you're like most Americans, you probably live close enough to a home port to avoid needing a flight at all.

Don't believe me?

From the Eastern Seaboard, another hundred million-plus can catch a cruise to Bermuda, Bahamas...come on pretty Mama...to lots of great Caribbean ports all year round.

In the south, the first thought is Florida, where most cruise ships embark, but there also are lots of ships in Galveston year-round that will take you to Mexico and the Caribbean.

And don't forget New Orleans.

Tens of millions of people live in western states within a 6-hour drive of a California port.

There are escapes to summer year-round on the West Coast, although once you're as far north as Washington state you might have to wait for the Alaska season to have a close to home port.  Still, it's not a difficult flight or impossible drive to get to San Francisco.

How about cruising to the Mexican Riviera, California Coast or Hawaii?

If you're in the Midwest, I can help you book a cruise on the Mississippi or a Great Lakes cruise.

Then again, being in the middle of the country, you can probably fly to any of those other ports in three to four hours for tropical beach fun.

Where there's a will, there's a way.

If you have a desire to live your best life, stop worrying and instead shout "Will do!"

You'll be amazed by how that decision alone lightens your spirit.

I'd love to help you get there.

Wes
