Looking for an unimpeachable topic of conversation over your turkey and stuffing meal?

Complimenting the cook and hosts for their fabulous meal is always appreciated by those whose hard work makes this all possible.

"What can I do to help?" is always a great question.

After the meal, "Let me help clear the table and do the dishes" is an appropriate statement sure to elicit smiles of gratitude.

And then there's travel. Don't be shy when speaking about your last great vacation, including the world-class entertainer you saw in the cruise ship lounge or the fabulous adventure you took on shore that made you almost miss the last tender.

Of course, show interest in the travels of others, too.

And then talk about where you want to go next. Maybe you'll find friends and family who want to go along. No need to talk turkey just yet, but once you get some general ideas, please send me an email about any possible group cruise. There's never a risk to seeing what might work for you.

The main reason for the day, however, is gratitude for all that God has provided for you. We live in an abundant universe at the most prosperous time in human history in the freest country on earth ever. Love it all, and enjoy the day!
