The next time you cruise, don't forget to just relax and simply enjoy cruising every day.

My good friend Mike periodically reminds me that he likes sea days better than port days.

There is a pattern to life onboard --- thanks to wonderful Cruise Directors and crews --- that is quite satisfying.

But each cruise remains a unique experience.

To a significant extent, it comes down to how we choose to experience what goes on around us.

Will we make our theme about music, history, wellness, nature, games, dining, fun in the sun...?

The great thing about cruising is that we can experience all of that and more on every cruise.

On most great vacations, that's exactly what we do, though by the end I often notice a theme has developed, especially when I am repeating an itinerary.

In the end, each cruise creates a tapestry of experiences that can never be duplicated, something that I like to call a "Book" in my personal travel blog.

What will be the story of your next cruise?

Make it a good one, but remember to also direct your intention to relaxing and enjoying the experience of cruising.
