The first vacation I sold as a Cruise Planners agent was not a cruise at all.

It was a Globus Tour for a solo traveler.

This married woman wanted to travel to Italy, but her husband did not.  Taking a packaged tour gave her the confidence to fly thousands of miles from San Diego to explore a place she had always dreamt of visiting.

Upon returning, she reported that she thoroughly enjoyed her trip.

Not surprising when

someone visiting Rome, Venice and Florence accompanied by an expert guide and a group of like-minded new friends.

Since then, I have sold many tours with Globus, Insight Vacations, Cosmos, Collette, G-Adventures, Contiki, Trafalgar, Gate 1 and more.

Why more than one company?

Not everyone has the same budget or quality parameters.  Not everyone wants the same type of trip.

While companies lead similar vacation tours, no two are identical.

Within the various companies, there are frequently different group sizes or styles of travel available.

Do you want a fast-paced panorama maximizing the number of countries you visit, or do you prefer a slower pace with one or two home bases?

Make no mistake; cruises remain our primary focus.  We love cruising, and many of the great cities in the world became great because of being on seacoasts or by an important river.

As we cruise, however, many of us become more and more enamored with shore excursions.

A packaged land tour is all about the excursions.

Going between hotels is basically an excursion with a purpose of reaching a new stop rather than a return to your floating resort to get to the next stop.

You don't need to be convinced if you're ready to try a land trip.  You know.

I'd love to help you choose the perfect packaged tour for you, just as I welcome the opportunity to help you plan a great cruise.

Thanks,

Wes
