Quantum Jump to a Sunny Caribbean Cruise?
Published Thursday, April 10th 2025
Have you heard of Quantum Jumping?
Perhaps the TV show Quantum Leap comes to mind. I personally like the original series much better than the reboot, but that's for a different kind of blog.
If you've ever watched that show, you know that Sam finds himself in a new body in a new place and time, with a cosmically destined goal to influence reality on a mission that has not been revealed to him in advance.
While getting into an entirely different body immediately sounds crazy, we all have occupied many bodies in our lives already. We were once little babies, then children and teens. While we remember what it felt like to be a child, we have completely transformed bodies since then.
Perhaps as an adult you have subconsciously gained weight or intentionally gone on a fitness regimen, both of which result in you occupying a new body eventually.
Of course, that takes time.
The concept of Quantum Jumping is a metaphysical offshoot of Quantum Physics.
Whereas in classic Physics, we know the physical universe seems to obey certain laws, like gravity, Quantum Physics at a sub molecular level apparently changes realities based on observation by the scientist. Q.P. infers that there are perhaps infinite levels of reality possible depending on the observer.
In our own lives, we are the observers. When things are going poorly, with the wrong observational mindset, we unintentionally look everywhere for confirmation, and what we find makes the situation worse.
With Quantum Jumping, however, we instead back away from an unsatisfying situation, meditate on what would be ideal, and then return to reality expecting the ideal.
Will this work for you?
Why not make it easier by changing your surroundings temporarily to a cruise around tropical islands bathed in sunshine?
We all feel better when we're on a tropical cruise, and of course the physical reality makes that easier.
Thinking about the cruise we will soon take actually improves our state of mind before even boarding the cruise.
Once on vacation, we're surrounded by others with that same positive mindset, reinforcing our decision to look and feel a new ideal state of being.
We swim in the ocean, catch some rays on the pool deck or walking in the sand, and have good reasons to get out of comfortable chairs to be physically active. We eat lavish meals that --- surprise, surprise --- are actually more nutritious than junk food back home that creeps its way into our diets. In summary, we come back looking better physically after cruising for a week.
When you look better and feel better, you are actually a better person when you return to the everyday life you left to board a cruise. You will probably find you are more successful in significant ways, because isn't this person you've become on vacation exactly the kind of person you want to be around?
So, are you ready to Quantum Jump not only to the Caribbean but to a better you?
