Let's Get Frightened for Real!

Who doesn't enjoy an occasional thrill?

Ziplining across a ravine?  Reading a thrilling passage in a Dan Brown novel?  Hang gliding?

Watching a Stephen King movie?  Skiing down a steep mountain a little faster than you can hold a turn?

Taking the stage at a karaoke bar without knowing the song?  Going 88 in an 80 mph zone through Utah?

Riding a roller coaster?  Trekking across the Serenghetti in search of lions?

Sitting at home waiting for a talking head on TV to tell you it's safe to go for a walk?

You and I don't consider that last one quite as thrilling as the rest, but apparently it is more frighening to the average couch potato.

Sadly, it is the only one most people even consider these days.

While cruises are pretty much shut down for Americans until at least March, it's still possible to go to many resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico. 

For some real thrills, how about Africa or Egypt?

Surely a charging rhino and centuries of tension in the Middle East are thrills worth experiencing for huge payoffs to remember the rest of your life!
