The best time to book an Alaska cruise tour for next summer is between September and November.

Because they're always ranked in past guest satisfaction among the very best vacation experiences in the world, it's imperative to book early to be sure you lock in the perfect tour for you.

This is especially true for the year following disastrous 2020, when cruise lines were forced to cancel their entire 2020 season in Alaska.

All of those folks disappointed to be forced to stay at home will want to be aboard an Alaska cruise in 2021, and because they've now had an extra year to squirrel away acorns, many will splurge for a cruise tour.

Recognizing this, Celebrity Cruises has created a dedicated web site for Alaska Cruise Tours.

For most cruisers stretching to consider a cruise tour, the primary motivator is visiting Denali National Park, but there's much more to see beyond that 6 million acre park featuring our country's highest mountain peak.  In fact, as the size of that park alone indicates, you can't see it all in a day or two.

You also need to add a night at the end point city of either Anchorage or Fairbanks, so you soon realize you may need more than the minimum time.

Beyond that, Alaska is not like a TV show where nature appears to be calibrated to fit the time slot.  Animal behavior, weather and other factors beyond the control of Cruise Planners will come into play, and the longer you stay, the better your probability of having magical encounters and perfect moments that you'll remember forever.

If it turns out to be non-stop enchantment, I doubt you will complain about having too much pleasure.

There are lots of great reasons to book now.  For the next few days, you can take advantage of a free category upgrade with Princess along with their Princess Plus (free Beverage Package, WiFi and Gratuities) or "No Frills" Princess Savers fares.

Holland America has 20% off shore excursions available on 2021 Alaska and Europe cruises booked before September 9, 2020, to go along with free beverages, gratuities and Signature Dining Package.  Celebrity is scheduled to begin a new special for Alaska Cruise Tours on September 8, 2020.

And if you're thinking about a different cruise line, I will be happy to get the best amenities or price to suit your desires.
