It's Not Too Late For Black Friday!
Published Saturday, November 27th 2021 - Updated Saturday, November 27th 2021Travel sales on Black Friday are not like those stores where you arrive at three in the morning to stand in a long queue hoping to snag one of those two wide-screen TVs available at some absurdly-low come-on price.
For cruiselines and land tours, Black Friday frequently lingers through Cyber Monday.
On Black Friday, I went through reservation by reservation in hopes of saving my clients some money by finding possible reductions on trips booked weeks or months earlier. Somtimes, I found trivial savings, like $8 off a stateroom total of almost 900 times that much, but in a handful of cases, I was able to cut hundreds of dollars.
In the vast majority of cases, however, you may be surprised to learn that I found early booking locked in better deals than Black Friday. The same applies with whatever the latest sale might be.
Sure, ads may claim savings of 35% or a bonus discount of $250, but often it turns out that the underlying pricing has also increased.
As we enter a time when we will be digesting substantial inflation, booking early should be strongly considered, even if you have a bit of sticker shock initially. After all, if the price drops later, I can usually get that for you, subject to giving up the perks of the prior promotion under which you booked.
So, if you want to get the best deal without the hassles, book early.
It's always the right time to reserve your next great vacation when you book with wes@CruisePlanners1.com.
