Irish Summer? I like it too!
Published Friday, January 22nd 2021 - Updated Friday, January 22nd 2021The last European country Julie and I visited prior to the lockdown of travel was Ireland, so I have no trouble conjuring up warm memories of tipping a pint of Guinness while listening to Irish troubadors in a classic pub in the Temple Bar District or taking in the grandeur of Irish countryside and castles.
Perhaps Ireland has been near the top of your bucket list, or like us you would return regularly if given the time and treasure.
While the combination of Northern Ireland plus the Republic of Ireland is not so vast an area that it can't be covered on a land trip, you might want to consider taking a cruise, especially if you've never been to other parts of the UK.
On a cruise, it is easy to combine a trip to London, Liverpool and Edinburgh with the Emerald Isle.
Packaged land tours, however, can also be an amazing way to see this gorgeous part of the world. Having a knowledgeable local guide keeps you on the right roads to the highlights, filling all the inconvenient travel gaps of independent travel.
Then again, if you want to wing it, I can help you plan an independent trip around Ireland, with a caveat to be careful when driving from a pub on the wrong side of the road after imbibing.
Let me help you live your Irish dream.
