Princess Cruises has been one of our favorites for years.  

Our first cruise was aboard the original Pacific Princess, the same one you'll remember from "The Love Boat" TV series in the 1970's. 

It's funny to think how glamorous that little ship looked on our tiny screens.  Compared to new ships, it was really primitive.   

As we continued to cruise with Princess over the years, we have been privileged to watch the evolution of line. 

While we always appreciate the value and quality of the experience, Princess missed the mark for families who wanted a luxurious suite with a private master bedroom, but that's about to change with the new Sky Princess. 

With private bedrooms and over 1000 square feet of balcony, including a private perch for watching Movies Under the Stars above the pool area, this might be the right choice for those who seek out larger suites on Royal Caribbean and NCL. 

If you insist on the finest suites on mega-ships, it's time to put Princess on your radar. 

Assuming the Sky Suite proves the hit it promises to be, then you'll see it not only on Enchanted Princess when introduced in 2020 but the next unnamed Royal Class ship and two next generation ships following soon thereafter.  

Princess will be unveiling a total of five new ships in the next six years!
