Over the decades, Thanksgiving has become a wonderful American tradition.

Before boarding a recent cruise, Julie spent a day in Southampton where we found the Mayflower Memorial.

We learned that John Alden, the first Pilgrim to set foot on Plymouth Rock, joined the Mayflower in Southampton when she stocked up on provisions during that last stop on the long ocean voyage.  Perhaps like me you remember his name along with his wife Pricilla and Miles Standish.

How amazing it is to travel in the footsteps of history learned in elementary school.

With the arrival of Thanksgiving, the holiday season begins in earnest.

Where will you ring in the New Year?

Perhaps a holiday cruise?

A sunny destination like the Caribbean, Mexico or Hawaii can be very tempting when temperatures dip at home.

On other than peak weeks, some of the best prices of the year are for winter cruises.  I'm happy to help you book whatever specific cruise you want, but remember I see specials come across my virtual desk every day.  A last-minute deal on a trip that you hadn't considered might be a better fit for your budget or travel style than what you initially ask about.
