Freedom to Live!

 

We should never lose sight of how truly blessed we are to live in a country where we have the freedom to live the lives we choose.

 

Is our country perfect?

 

 

No, but we far exceed any historical norm by virtue of being born in a country that recognizes "certain inalienable rights" including "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

 

Without those rights, we would be like the vast majority of the world's population throughout history, subsisting on barely enough to get by and never roaming more than fifty miles from their homes.

 

Whether we travel to learn about fascinating cultures or to see breathtakingly beautiful beaches, rivers or mountains, we return home to the greatest country in the world for "Everyday People" like you and me.
