Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Celebrity and others will delay re-opening until November 1, in line with CLIA's announcement of a voluntary pause of cruising in US waters through the end of October.

I speculated based on NCL's similar delay mentioned in my last newsletter/blog that seemed likely as the next shoe to fall.

Previously, Princess said they wouldn't cruise again before December 15, and luxurious Crystal Cruise Lines has shut down operations until 2021.

Some river cruises including AmaWaterways have resumed some regional trips geared to Europeans, but not for Americans thus far.

With none of my clients now scheduled to cruise until late December, it occurs to me that if nothing else I can share details from the AmaWaterways Danube cruise Julie and I took three years ago, so you can vicariously take one of the best vacations in the world.

I think we're all ready for life to return to noble so that we can take our next dream cruise.  In the mean time, maybe a mental journey will help.
