I confess I don't regularly watch Wheel of Fortune, but I just learned that this week, Collette Vacations will be sponsoring "Escape to Portugal Week" on WOF.

That means you could win a trip to Portugal's Riviera!

Considering I have no idea how the sweepstakes is played, I'm not exactly an expert on calculating your odds of winning that free trip, but I'd guess it is a bit of a longshot.

If you choose to go to Portugal regardless of the contest, however, you will definitely be a winner despite paying your way like pretty much everyone else.

Portugal is one of the greatest places in the world for a vacation.  You would love a Collette guided tour, which includes transportation from your home to your local airport, but quite frankly, there are other great tour companies I could help you choose.

Another amazing way to see Portugal would be on a Douro River cruise.

Or, you could catch an ocean cruise that includes Portugal.

It's probably too late for you to get on a TransAtlantic crossing that includes the Azores and Portugal this spring, but maybe in the fall?

You could do what Julie and I did, which is catch a cruise from Lisbon and combine Portugal with Spain for an amazing trip.
