Don't Procrastinate!
Published Sunday, March 10th 2024 - Updated Tuesday, March 12th 2024This year, most cruises are sailing close to full or sold out entirely.
If you wait for a last-minute deal, you may be waiting a few years to take that dream vacation.
You should also choose your shore excursions well in advance, or you may be out of luck.
Similarly, book alternative dining reservations as early as possible.
The best way to stay on top of the situation after we've booked your cruise is to register with the cruise line immediately. That is where you will find access to those services like shore excursions, spa services and dining that cruise lines sell as add-ons.
If you plan to travel with family and friends, procrastinating will make the task of booking close to impossible.
Small groups booking months in advance may already find it challenging to lock-in the right combination of rooms suitable for all who want to go.
There is still space available on great cruises, but you may need to have a bit more flexibility in which type of accommodations, ship or cruise line you choose.
Regarding price, just remember that we've had three years of inflation built into prices, so expect to pay more than past trips for both cruises and air.
But I will do my best to help you find the best value for your travel budget.
