Back from Egypt

Upon returning from Egypt, we have mentioned the trip to many people.

Many of them have said that Egypt tops their personal bucket lists.

Perhaps that is not surprising, because we have all seen treasures and mysteries of Egypt in movies and TV shows.

Most assume that the price tag must be quite high.

It is true that upscale cruises and tours, like those of Viking River Cruises and Tauck Tours, might at first glance seem pricey, but consider that they include shore excursions in each port, beer and wine with lunch and dinner and free wifi.

And there are less expensive choices.

A few years ago, we met Janet and Bruce on a terrific river cruise.  As we got to know them, we learned they were very well-traveled.

Without prompting, they raved that their Egypt cruisetour with Tauck Tours was their best vacation ever.

As you might expect, the pricier the trip, the more exclusive the experiences become.

Don't let dreams of the perfect stop you from experiencing the best that you can comfortably afford.

This year, demand has ballooned for the Land of the Pharaohs.

Should you go?

Definitely, especially if you love history and "Wonders of the World."
