With winter fast approaching, it may seem an odd time to think about an Alaska cruise, but fall is a time when many people "book early" for next summer.

Oversold Alaska seasons the last couple of years due to pent-up demand created by the Covid-19 shutdowns combined with concerns about turmoil overseas --- and when in the 21st Century haven't there been problems somewhere in the world? --- have pushed cruise lines to market 2025 already, casting a full season into the future beyond 2024, which is looking to be another record-breaking year.

Needless to say, if you delay booking 2024, you might miss out.

As you've heard from your friends, Alaska can be a perfect place for families, empty nesters and multi-generational family reunions.

How about getting together with college friends or colleagues from the favorite place you ever worked?

If you're really old school, perhaps you've kept in touch with friends from grade school.

There's something for everybody, but Alaska appeals most to people who love nature and wildlife.

Many who've taken Inside Passage cruises return with a fervent desire to take a cruise tour up through Denali National Park and other inland regions.

Others just want to re-do favorite sites or try something they ignored in favor of a different activity.

Plan your next great vacation while your choice of ship, itinerary or accommodations are still available.
