Perhaps like me you always enjoyed Led Zeppelin' Immigrant Song when it came on the radio as you drove to a nightclub, or any other time you heard it. Click on the song title and you recognize it despite the title, which isn't obvious.

If you know the song, perhaps you'll guess where this is going...or should I say this cruise is going?

Perhaps you feel like you've seen it all, or maybe you're ready to take your second cruise after taking a relaxing ship to the sunny Caribbean or Alaska.

Norway and Iceland offer majestic landscapes, and you have a great selection of top cruise lines to choose from.

Viking Ocean makes it simple, with a free excursion in every port, just like their river cruises, plus free wifi and free local wine and beer with lunch and dinner.  Add air with Viking, and your roundtrip transfers are free.

Julie and I frequently find ourselves aboard Princess Cruises, because they happen to go where we want to go at a price that we find comfortable, even after we add the Princess Plus Package for $50 per person per day.  Princess Plus covers free wifi, an excellent beverage package (including tips) and pre-paid gratuities for your room stewards and dining room staff.

Their newest ships evolve from what customers like, but if you've been on other Princess ships in the last twenty years, you will find yourself feeling immediately at home, because after all it is an evolution, not a revolution.

If big ships aren't your thing (though keep in mind that Viking Ocean ships only carry 1000 guests), you can board an expedition style ship with Hurtigruten, where it feels more like an explorer trip with lots of time in ports.

With Hurtigruten, you can cruise in the dead of winter when you have the best chance for spotting the Northern Lights.

Nature unfolds the way God wants it, so no promises of Aurora Borealis unfolding regardless of when you travel.  Then again, it is also possible to see the spectacle magically appear whenever you travel, if conditions are right.

So, are your ready for something new and exciting?

Are you ready to get out of your cage and step into the future?

Do you find yourself pining for the Fjords?

"Better service leads to better trips!"
