"When I'm with you
It doesn't matter where we are
Or what we're doing
I'm with you, that's all that  matters."

--- "Beginnings" by Chicago

Hearing those lyrics on the radio while driving to the store on Sunday, they seemed particularly meaningful to me, even though I've heard the same words umpteen times since the days of high school garage parties.

Wouldn't you enjoy traveling with someone who truly felt that way about you?

Isn't that connection what makes travel --- and in fact life --- special?

Sharing the wonders of the world with those we love?

I've been blessed to do that repeatedly, as perhaps you have too.

Let's all remember those words when we travel, even if something doesn't go quite right, as happened for Allen and Alice on our recent excursion to Beijing's Summer Palace.

Of course, choosing the right vacation for you personally before you leave home can eliminate a lot of potential snafus and avoid unnecessary friction.

"Better service leads to better trips!"
