Back From Africa!

Julie and I just returned from a packaged land tour of South Africa.

What a wonderful experience it proved to be!

Cape Town has plenty to keep curious travelers entertained for an entire vacation.

We started with one of their gorgeous beaches, Camps Bay, on a perfect day in the 70's Fahrenheit.

A highlight of the next day was taking the rotating gondola along the taut cable to the top of Table Mountain for impressive views of Cape Town.

The following day, we hiked along the gorgeous craggy coast at the Cape of Good Hope before proceeding to a penguin colony at Boulder Beach.

With delicious vintages produced in lovely vineyards, we jumped on the chance to tour three wineries the next day.

Then, we flew to Johannesburg for two days of photo-safari drives at Mabula Game Lodge.

"Wow!" was the phrase that best summarizes our experience.
