"Better service
leads to better trips!"

blog post

This is NOT my primary blog!

August 21st 2011

http://cruiseplanners1.blogspot.com is the place you want to go.

If I was a better computer programmer, I would take you directly there when you click on the Blog link above, but instead you'll have to tolerate this little detour and take the initiative to click the link above.

Actually, I tried to be even more clever, putting a hotlink on my home page from the phrase "With friendly and knowledgeable service," attempting to motivate you to ask, "What does he mean by that?" and subsequently click on the link.

However, I'm not sure how many people find that link, and in fact, it is intended to be something of a secret passage for only my best friends, like you, because what kind of fool would so freely broadcast his personal experiences to total strangers?

When you get to my official blog, you'll find you can search based on keywords with the search engine at the top or by month in the Archives. The search system is far from perfect, but if you put in a word like" snorkeling" or "Greece," you should end up with a few responses. From there, if you read through an article that interests you and want to know more about the days around that event, click "create a link" at the bottom of the specific post. Then when you reach that new page, select either "Newer Post" or...you guessed it...."Older Post." Was that complicated enough for you? Like I said, it's not a perfect system, and I'm only an amateur computer programmer.

I mentioned Greece specifically, and in fact am writing this post, to direct Gayle, who I saw last night at my high school reunion, to my primary blog. She'll soon be exploring the Greek Isles aboard Oceania (Marina?), a trip she mistakenly booked through someone who is NOT me because, apparently, she didn't take the time to find out if someone she shared a journalism textbook with in junior college, would be a cruise consultant a few decades later. As the ever-popular Jarjar Binx said, "How Wuuuud." Anyway, I gave her my card and told her she could read up on Greece at my blog, and if she never made it past this page, she would soon find herself questioning my sanity in telling her there were articles about Greece.

By the way, I use that blog site instead of this because it is so much easier to navigate.
