Getting What You Want Should Be Foremost In Your Mind

My friend Denise, a professional realtor, contacted me out of the blue the other day to see if Julie and I would be interested in selling our home. Denise knew that our daughter Amy had just graduated from college, and Julie had been hinting at going to a smaller place.
We let Denise show the home to a handful of people two weeks ago, and within a few days, we had three strong offers. We are now in escrow.
Of course, this good fortune left us wondering where we would move. We found lots of great condos, some a little too small and others too far from Julie's work. The very first one our agent showed us turned out to be the most ideal, something which we actually sensed as soon as we saw it, although it took us a while to adjust to the idea of squeezing into a place half as large as where we currently live.
Where we are in our life cycle doesn't require a big house, and we found exactly the kind of place we wanted, with the help of an expert. We went into escrow on our new condo, too.
In your life, are you finding what you want, or are you darting after something shiny or a "bargain" that really doesn't suit your needs? Happiness doesn't come from owning everything in sight, but getting what fits your needs will make you happy long after the price and other choices have been forgotten.
Let me help you find your next vacation. I look at them all the time, and if you share what you you would find ideal, I probably know where to find it at the best possible value. "Better service leads to better trips."
